Black Blockchain Summit 2019

This year, Brand New Technologies attended the Black Blockchain Summit 2019 at the prestigious Howard University in Washington, DC. This marked the second year since its inception. The summit took place on September 9-10, 2019. This year’s theme, “Reparations and Revolutions”, provided a stage for various experts speaking on topics ranging from blockchain, bitcoin, cryptocurrency and the effects they will ultimately have on the Black community.

From the opening libation ceremony, the tone was set for the entire event. Hosted by Sinclair Skinner (BitMari) and John Wainaina Samson Karanja (BitHub Africa), the speakers offered a vast array of possible solutions to some of the issues that are plaguing our society. Executives, investors, developers, and novices alike, all gathered under one roof to exchange their experiences and knowledge on blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
